LONDON (Reuters) – Britain’s communications regulator Ofcom on Friday published an invitation to comment on the proposed acquisition of the Telegraph Media Group by Abu Dhabi-backed RedBird IMI, following a government intervention in the deal.
The regulator said it was inviting written submissions to be sent by Dec. 13.
Britain intervened in the planned deal on Thursday, asking regulators to examine the deal’s impact on accuracy and freedom of expression.
