Ugandan shilling stable on scant importer FX demand

KAMPALA (Reuters) – The Ugandan shilling was stable on Tuesday, underpinned by scant demand for dollars from importers and commercial banks, traders said.

At 1130 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling 3,745/3,755 per dollar, the same level as Monday’s closing rate.
