Ugandan shilling little-changed, expected to weaken

KAMPALA (Reuters) – The Uganda shilling was little-changed on Friday although it was expected to lose ground due to demand for dollars from energy sector importers, traders said.

At 0916 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,735/3,745, compared with Thursday’s closing rate of 3,730/3,740.
