- Average captain’s pay to increase 25% over the contract term, first officer’s 43%
- Total value of the contract is $463 million, up 27% from previous agreement
- About 69% of pilots casting ballots voted for contract
- Agreement is retroactive to Jan. 1, calls for company to immediately re-enter contract talks with pilots if pending merger with JetBlue Airways doesn’t gain regulatory approval or is abandoned, union says in statement
