NAIROBI – Kenya’s shilling was stable against the dollar on Tuesday, traders said, as remittance inflows matched manufacturing and energy sector demand in a quiet session.
At 0910 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 150.00/20, the same as the close of Monday’s session.
The shilling has lost 17.8% of its value against the dollar since the start of the year, according to LSEG data.
