George Santos Ordered to Reveal the Names of Those Who Paid His $500,000 Bail

The identities of US Representative George Santos’s three bail guarantors were ordered unsealed by the federal judge overseeing the criminal fraud case against the Republican congressman.

(Bloomberg) — The identities of US Representative George Santos’s three bail guarantors were ordered unsealed by the federal judge overseeing the criminal fraud case against the Republican congressman.

Media organizations had sought the release of the names of the three people who signed on as sureties for Santos’s $500,000 bond. Santos had argued that those people could suffer harm if their identities became public. The judge gave Santos until June 9 to appeal the ruling.
