(Bloomberg) — Travel across England in the first weekend of June is set for further disruption after a major railway union announced another day of strikes, imperiling football fans’ journeys.

Industrial action is now scheduled for June 2, the day before the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium in London between Manchester United and Manchester City, according to a statement from the RMT labor group.

The action precedes another 24-hour strike by Aslef on June 3, and follows a two-day walkout from the two unions earlier this month. Aslef also has a strike set for May 31.

Railway workers, train managers and station staff are continuing to take action due to an ongoing row over pay and conditions. The RMT has a fresh six-month mandate for industrial action, which could see strikes continue until winter if the dispute is not resolved.

The UK has suffered a year of widespread industrial protests across sectors such as the Royal Mail, civil service, schools, universities and hospitals, as well as public transport.

But Londoners and commuters into the capital were afforded some relief from travel disruption as the rail union representing workers on the Elizabeth Line called off a strike set for May 23, following a revised pay proposal from management.
