Credit Suisse Bonus Pool Drops 50% After Worst Year Since Crisis

Credit Suisse Group AG’s bonus pool for 2022 has been cut by about half after the Swiss lender’s worst year since the financial crisis.

(Bloomberg) — Credit Suisse Group AG’s bonus pool for 2022 has been cut by about half after the Swiss lender’s worst year since the financial crisis.

Variable compensation for last year is down about 50%, Chief Financial Officer Dixit Joshi said on a call on Thursday.

Bloomberg reported last month that Credit Suisse was considering cuts of that magnitude.
