TOKYO (Reuters) – Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda said on Thursday he hopes the economy can see inflation and wages rise in a balanced manner.
If inflation and wages rise in a balanced fashion, that can lead to increases in capital expenditure as well as spending on research and development, Ueda said in a speech at an event hosted by banking lobby Japan Bankers Association.
