(Reuters) – A fire at the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region was promptly extinguished, the region’s emergency security authorities said early on Sunday after social media reports of powerful blasts shaking the refinery.
“According to preliminary information there are no injuries,” the emergency administration authority in the Krasnodar region, which lies on the northeast coast of the Black Sea, said on its Telegram messaging app.
