Ugandan shilling stable, may weaken on importer FX appetite

KAMPALA (Reuters) – The Ugandan shilling was largely stable on Tuesday, but seen weakening moderately on the back of dollar demand by importers of fuel and other general goods, traders said.

At 0938 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,743/3,753, little-changed from Friday’s close of 3,740/3,750.
