BUDAPEST (Reuters) – Hungary’s foreign minister on Sunday welcomed the victory of Robert Fico in Slovakia’s election, saying Fico shared the Hungarian government’s stance on issues like migration and the war in Ukraine.
“Robert Fico has the same views on the war, migration and gender issues as us. His victory offers a serious chance to strengthen the Visegrad alliance (of CEE states),” Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said in a Facebook post.
