A Piaget store in central Paris was robbed at about 1 pm local time Tuesday, with thieves hauling away between €10 and €15 million in jewelry, the prosecutor’s office in the city said.

(Bloomberg) — A Piaget store in central Paris was robbed at about 1 pm local time Tuesday, with thieves hauling away between €10 and €15 million in jewelry, the prosecutor’s office in the city said.

The robbers targeted the shop on Rue de la Paix, steps away from the Place de Vendome, it said, adding that an investigation is under way.

The burglary involved three people, and there were no injuries, Agence France-Presse reported.
