Japan govt to submit extra budget to parliament on Nov 20 – Asahi

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s government is planning to submit a supplementary budget to fund a package of measures to cushion the economic blow from inflation to the parliament on Nov. 20, the Asahi newspaper reported on Saturday, citing multiple government officials.

The cabinet on Thursday approved the 17 trillion yen ($113 billion) plan, part of which will be backed by the extra budget for the current fiscal year worth 13.1 trillion yen.
