Magnitude 5.1 Earthquake Strikes Northern Italy, USGS Says

Northern Italy was struck by a 5.1 magnitude earthquake early hours of Sept. 18, about 44 kilometers (27.3 miles) from Florence, according to the US Geological Survey.

(Bloomberg) — Northern Italy was struck by a 5.1 magnitude earthquake early hours of Sept. 18, about 44 kilometers (27.3 miles) from Florence, according to the US Geological Survey.  

The quake had a depth of 10 kilometers.
