Magnitude 6.8 Earthquake Strikes in Tajikistan, EMSC Says

A 6.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Tajikistan, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

(Bloomberg) — A 6.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Tajikistan, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre. 

It had a depth of 20 kilometers and was 66 km west of the small town of Murghob, in Tajikistan, near the border with China’s Xinjiang region.
