(Bloomberg) — Serbia will look into a European Union plan that proposes normalizng ties with Kosovo because it risks losing its chance to join the bloc and could see foreign investors leave if it turns it down, President Aleksandar Vucic said.

“We would become politically and economically lost without EU support,” Vucic told reporters in Belgrade on Monday. He spoke days after meeting US and European Union envoys who are trying to broker a lasting agreement between Serbia and its former province, which declared independence in 2008.
