(Bloomberg) — The US House speaker fight is finally drawing to a close.
Republican leader Kevin McCarthy’s emerging deal that includes rule changes to give conservatives more influence has helped flip antagonists. McCarthy likely still needs two of the remaining six holdouts to win, depending on absences. The House has adjourned and plans to vote again at 10 p.m. in Washington, DC.
