Chairman of China’s Ningbo Shanshan dies

SHANGHAI (Reuters) – The chairman and founder of China’s Ningbo Shanshan Co Ltd, Zheng Yonggang, died on Friday, the company said in a statement on Saturday.

Yonggang, 65, died of heart disease, the company said.

Zheng led Shanshan to become China’s first listed apparel company in 1996.

Shanshan also expanded into the new energy and polarizer industries under Zheng’s leadership, the statement added.
